Cindi Drennan is a self employed professional artist, specializing in the field of audiovisual and projection art.
Cindi designs and constructs "Illuminart®" - installations, screen sculptures and structures featuring projection art for festivals, theatre, public spaces and corporate events.
Cindi also creates commissioned audiovisual / projection art for theatre and events, and produces events featuring projection art, holds workshops, and collaborates with other artists and producers to create hybrid media projects.
Based in regional SA and NSW, Cindi works within several communities along a cultural conduit, developing creative ventures connecting regional and urban communities. Her research projects include low energy and green power solutions for projection art, and writing for hybrid media texts.

GENERATION WHY
Environmental projection during the live recording of Gen whY show at Trackdown Studios, NSW. Starring Hayden Tee, musical director Nigel Ubrihien, directed by Darren Yap. Will tour interstate during 2008.
BECKS BAR
Sydney Festival VJ appearances at Becks Bar on 14 & 27 Jan 2009, to accompany live performances by JAVA, and CAMILLE.
PROMISE
Design and construction of a new audiovisual / light sculpture, presented at Sydney Festival First Night 10 Jan 2009, and other festivals in 2009.
PORT AUGUSTA RE-IMAGINES
During 2007 and 2008 I worked part time for Country Arts SA, assisting with the year long inaugural Regional Centre of Culture program in my home town. Projects I managed included the Port Augusta Film Festival, Young Visions Art Program and Exhibition, Heritage Walk and program, and Artists Night & Day.

THE LIGHT PIRATES
Site Specific Projections during Port Augusta Re-Imagines! including Bridge Pylons and the Barracks during Fringe@Crossroads. Project involved working with local young people and artists to create projections telling stories of Port Augusta, and interweaving projection art into events during the program. Funded by Arts SA and Local Stages Initiative.
